how to use acrobat javascript in another software

Hi,

Please, I would like to know how can I use acrobat javascript Library and objects in another software.

Perhaps I have to load a dll ?

For example  "var AcroPDDoc pdfd = new AcroPDDoc();" is not recognized.

What can I do ?
