Hide field on page exit?

Hello,

Is there code to hide a field when exiting a page in Acrobat?

I have a button which shows a field and when the field is clicked it closes. But if the user does not click on it and leaves the page it remains open.  For example, I’m on page 6 of the document and clicked the button to show the field. Then I moved to page 7 and then I come back to page 6 and it is still open.

I’m trying to figure out how to close the field when exiting the page if the user does not close it.
